Centuripe and Saracen Bridge

Located in the eastern part of the District, this route allows you to visit some lesser-known corners of Centuripe and then by car, drive to the charming Saracen Bridge over the river Simeto.
It starts from the mausoleum dating back to the Roman Empire, called Castle Corradino (along the namesake avenue), to reach the Regional Archaeological Museum on Via Giulio Cesare. From here, in a couple of km on via Piave you can find the ruins of the Roman Baths. Leaving the village, in the afternoon you can aim for Simeto, by first taking Provincial Road 24a and, in about 7.5 km, State Route 121 for another 4.5 km to the village of Carcaci. From here you travel another 5 km on State Road 575, and come to the Saracen Bridge on the Simeto river.
