A day as a farmer in Piazza Armerina
Living a day as a farmer who is knowledgeable on the secrets of cultivating an organic vegetable garden near PiazzaArmerina, is an engaging experience which gives you the opportunity to uncover treasures,colors and flavors of the Sicilian hinterland.

 

In mid- morning, it is recommended heading towards an old farm, located not far from the center, to take part in lesson offered regarding the cultivation of an organic vegetable garden given by a local farmer who will explain how and when to cultivate the organic vegetables and aromatic herbs,  with respect to the tradition of the territory.  Moreover, upon request, you can visit the farm and book a light lunch before continuing your visit to the historic center of Piazza Armerina which is advisable doing with a qualified guide who will tell you about the history and traditions of the ancient medieval village.
